Multi-talented rapper, combat sportsman and boxing coach, Kontra K made a name for himself in the hip-hop scene through his remarkable style and motivating lyrics. He is one of the top acts in the German rap scene.

Kontra K Music is created mainly in cooperation with its main producer, The Cratez from Berlin. He markets himself as a boy off the street with a passion for martial arts .

Ever since the EP Wolves in 2014 and the album Out of the Shadow into the Light in 2015, Kontra K moved away from his "brutal image" of a boy from the street and thus from the classic gangsta rap, as well as its typical text elements. His newer lyrics mainly contain lines in which he focuses on martial arts, "trying to get my listeners on sports footage", and motivation mixed with experiences from his own life. In an interview, he said, "I have become a good person."
