But with children protesting, saying policies must change
The solution, to protect, restore & fund

Mass extinction, sounds so dramatic
But temperatures rise, sea levels rise
Feel the warming, hear the warnings
Action is next, action could be now

Fossil fuels still burning, climate breaking down
We've seen evidence, we need action on the ground
Nature can regenerate, nature can be fed
Plant another tree, help another forrest spread

We have a natural solution
Action next, action should be now
Green is the blood of earth. Nourish the earth
Conserve it's abundant worth

Jungles, marshes, seabeds, mangroves, swamps & reefs
Suck carbon from the air, repair, restore belief
When fossil fuels stay in the ground, the earth can rest & heal
Alternatives already here, wind & waves appeal

Stop funding the destruction of nature
Pay to plant, pay to save
What you do will count, policies will change
Protect, restore & fund

Maybe the young girl who stands so strong
Will bring change & understanding before long?
