This might be last full moon we'll ever see
It's always been the key to both our ruin
Her piercing crystal eyes and still unspoken words
That hang upon her lips and on my own
Her kamikaze syllables they swoop in low
As I confess some future crime unknown
She waits as only inches separate our skin
She has me as I move to pull her close
I know that we will never get another chance
She knows we'll both be chased across the globe
Too many loose ends to these secret rendez-vous
Too many reasons she can't let me go
She pushes back and aims, I just stand motionless
It was over long before the shot rang out
And every time I close my eyes she's all I see
She waits until I'm still before she goes
