Can't compromise my visions of the night to float like satellite
I've sacrificed many a night to hone these little rhymes of mine
Patience ain't enough if you don't work in wait
This life I yearn to taste I chase in haste
But it seems I just can't acclimate
My accolades delayed by decades laid waste
I fein for much I'm out of touch my discipline seems nonexistent
Infatuated with this distance I keep between myself and peace
I recognise myself in these
Eyes that stare right back at me
I reckon we can stand the test of time if we
Take a chance by breaking free from earthly needs that hold us back from fantasy
Docile I just cannot be
Can't let this world try leather me
Cash rules everything around me
My worldly views drown me
My faith in you is what bounds me
In poetry I work towards telepathy so i can be in natural key with all that now surrounds me
Order once astounded me I used to sit and frown at these
Thoughts of me conforming to the norms thought I was born to be the one that proudly stands out
Myself I hand out
I panicked man I thought that I had ran out
Of things that I could yap bout
Questioning my worth I nearly crashed out
What the hell was that bout
Dancing like I'm just ready to step up
Assume position
