Low tide
Ebbing away at the seaside
Reveals to me
Sand as far as I can see
The purest sand
Untouched by human hands
The sea, so calm
That I can hear the silent charm
Of the waves
Low tide
A place where worlds collide
It's so serene
To see the sea like it's never been
A cloudless sky
Reflecting back at my awestruck eye
New treasure awaits
Pebbles shine like they're worth their weight
In gold
High tide
Sand is gone at the quayside
Clouds roll in
So much lost as the waves begin
And as I stand
With this seashell in my hand
I can only stare
From the cliff top, just waiting there
For the tide
To ebb again
