Now I'm finally out the door

This grown up life it's so stressful
It's full of uncertainty that continues to wrap around me
It piles up on my desk next to the pile of tangled wires
I never got to those
But I must concentrate on this
Otherwise I have to make a list
Of all the things I have left undone
I don't know when I'll get to them
No matter where I put this sticky note it seems to continue to unstick from my mind
I'm expected to remember all of this and keep it in my head
I just go to bed
Every night
Trying to contain all this information and remain sane at the same time
It's harder than it sounds
And some how I made it through all of this
Still breathing fine and still being conscious
This freedom it seems so great at first
But really it constricts you more
But once you get ahold of it
It becomes a hostage to your grip
