There was a time a forest
Full of colors and smells
Sheltering heartbeats and stories
In this forest was a lair
A safe place for what's living
In the lair were 6 pairs of eyes
Older and younger, playful or shy
In the lair were 6 pairs of eyes
On a bright night you would see
Slowly moving, not a sound
A majestic red tail with a white end
Leafs and winds in harmony
Until the big sound
Waiting near a tree, waiting to be found
Near the tree is a meadow
And some footprints freshly made
With one eye closed he would search
For the majestic tail
With the push of a finger
He will lights up the night
A saddened heart as guidance
Fill the void, chase the fright
What a pride it must be
For who find joy in bullets
To Walk toward a Tree
And finally get some rest
There was a time a forest
Full of silence and grief
In the forest was a lair
The wind, a tree and a wish
The lair now feels bigger
The night ends and the leafs cry
Now the moon begins to fall
In the lair with 5 pairs of eyes
