Aodhán King is a worship leader and songwriter at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia, who is best known as a member of Young & Free, a Grammy Award-nominated, Hillsong-affiliated pop group aimed at young believers. He released his debut solo album, Beyond Us, in 2024.
Born on Christmas day in 1992 to an Indian mother and Irish father, King joined Hillsong's youth ministry in 2004. Over the years, he taught himself guitar, joined the creative team, and became a staff member. He co-founded Young & Free in 2012, and the group's guitar and electronics-driven contemporary pop sound quickly found favor in the praise & worship scene, with albums like We Are Young & Free, Youth Revival, All of My Best Friends, and Todos Mis Mejores Amigos reaching the upper echelons of the CCM charts.
A frequent collaborator, King has contributed to hits like Hillsong United's "Whole Heart (Hold Me Now)," Hillsong Worship's "Touch of Heaven," Cody Carnes' "Take You at Your Word," Benjamin William Hastings' "While I'm in the Wind," Elevation Worship's "Great Is," and LANY's "Alonica."
Early 2024 saw King release "Thank You So Much Jesus," the lead single from his first solo effort, Beyond Us, which arrived later that October.
