I wrote a letter to NASA
To see if Niel Armstrong is free
I wondered if he could answer a question
That's been bothering me
I asked him to say
In all of his days
Had he seen anything better than you
He laughed and he said
As his face turned red
Your more beautiful than view from the moon
I asked buzz too
He said he'd seen anything more beautiful than you
Even the third one that no one remembers
Said he'd never forget you face
They all agreed
That at our current speed
There'd be no finding anything better
So I'm doing my best
To get an alien address
And send a Marian a letter
I'd make a request to send me the best of what they've got
They'd send me the stars, the mountains of Mars but you beat the lot
And they stand down
Coz now they have found
A beauty worth two
They're silent coz they know
No matter how far you go
You're more beautiful than the view from the moon
I hope to make the trip too
And see the view from up there
I'd take you along so I can't get it wrong
When I get my chance to compare
I know it for certain
When space lifts the curtain
That I will be blown away
But it won't blow my mind
Coz there's beauty I find
In you everyday
