Have I all the time in the world
If I can't stay awake?
I find half of the time
That I spend
I can't afford to waste
Low waves, chasing a silver bullet
An old face gazes as sages shouldn't
Fear laces a shape-shifting recollection
Far away from the lengths I've gone to know forever
Well what does wishing do
When I can't go back to where I've been?
Pay no mind to what passes by
But how could I just look ahead?
In everything I choose
Seems the devil's on the
Other shoulder
After all we're just kids filling bigger shoes
So I'll try to lay the troubles to bed
