In my mirror's a reflection of a man that is penitent
Falling for the same sins, dag I'm repetitive
I can barely muster up the words to say, "I'm sorry"
Feeling so ashamed, my acts are so ungodly
The very things that I don't want to do, I still do
I'm like a rebellious kid, up past his curfew
I know it's wrong, but I feed this flesh like it's Pac-Man
Trying to do good in darkness like I was Batman
But I feel like Superman facing my Kryptonite
Falling down to my knees, not having the strength to fight
I swear that the day will come, when I'll finally overcome
But then I fall on my face, and now I'm back to square one
Lord I just got to know, was this really part of your plan
Watch the cycle of pain & regret, I don't understand
How can you love my soul, see all of my imperfections
And allow me to partake in your death and resurrection
If I fall short and go off course
Would your ghost leave this rotten corpse
How could you love me
And even when, I choose to sin
The battles yours but where is the win
And You still love me
For me to believe you don't love me with my stuff
Is like saying, What you did on the cross, wasn't enough
It's like saying you weren't the perfect sacrifice
Which would mean that I'm no longer redeemed, so I'm left with a price
A price that would need to be paid, see even if my life was laid
It still wouldn't be enough because of what my sins have made
A corruptible seed, who's incomplete
And in need of a savior to redeem and set me free from my wicked deeds
So now I'm at crossroad
I can't serve two masters so I got to choose hot or cold
I don't want to end up in the same old predicaments
Validating what most people think Christians are... hypocrites
I believe you deliver the godly from temptation
Help me to overcome and truly walkout my salvation
It's your perfect love that covers all of my sins
And motivates me to keep my faith activated until the very end
If I fall short and go off course
Would your ghost leave this rotten corpse
How could you love me
And even when, I choose to sin
The battles yours but where is the win
And You still love me
