Just Moving On
I heard some bad news today, a good man I know had passed away, he was only 52 years
Old, it stopped me in my tracks and made my blood run cold.
Life can throw you curves you know, it can take you high and take you low, it can break you down and bring you to your knees, and be gone as quick as a warm summer breeze

So when I go, when I leave this world behind, I pray my soul keep till the end of time. When I die, when I'm long gone, don't shed no tears for me, I'm just moving on, don't shed no tears for me, I'm just moving on

I've been learning to appreciate the simple things in life today, like a moonlit sky on a warm August night, and waking up to that sun breaking bright. Every day I make it through is another day I'm grateful to be living this life God has given me And if it suddenly ended tomorrow, I'd still be free.
Cause I believe in faith in God and eternal happiness, but there ain't no guarantees when you're laid to rest.
So I believe in living every day like it's my last, cause the future can't be determined on your past
