Quotes:
I've known Jay for years, he was my first friend ever. We're from a valley beyond Bridgend called Ogmore Vale, where we went to school. And I know Matt and Padge from comprehensive school.
-Michael 'Moose' Thomas

I've been in a band with Matt since I was 15, playing guitar. We were called Trauma. I didn't want to play guitar anymore so I left, and I don't think Matt was very happy with me! I started playing drums with Padge, but that didn't last very long. And then I went to college, met Matt again, and we decided to form a band called Jeff Killed John.
-Michael 'Moose' Thomas

Obviously we grew up on Metallica, Testament, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, but this nu-metal thing was happening. So we thought we'd have a go at doing that. But in the end we thought OK, we're not going to try to sound like anyone - we're just going to write music that comes naturally.
-Michael 'Moose' Thomas

I think Matt writes love songs - but really dark ones. I think 90% of them are fictional. But does he have luck with the ladies? Oh, yeah - he's a boy, isn't he? We called it The Poison because we had such big success off the mini-album, it was like everyone was getting infected with our music.
-Michael 'Moose' Thomas

I'll tell you what I'm not a big fan of, all this make-up malarky, all that crap around the eyes. Some bands are just covered in the stuff, and it's just not about music anymore and you think "What are you doing? Just play your f--king music!" It's like they're trying to cover up something about themselves. It's ridiculous.
-Michael "Padge" Padget

I remember seeing The Lostprophets play just after their first album came out, and they were so amazing, they were so heavy and had such great stage presence that it really pushed us, it should us what we should be like.
-Bassist Jason James
