I've been dreaming of this day for some time now
We'd made some plans awhile back that didn't pan out
To step out on that back porch and see the sky how

I got some friends who who packed some boxes and moved out east
And I can't help but wish to be there too
Feeling the breeze while I'm above the trees
How could it get much better than this

Since I finally made the trip, got outta my town
Pushed a couple thousand feet to see all around
Tried to capture the beauty, but when I put my phone down
