No I ain't been proper, no, no, no
No I ain't I been proper, no, no
I been slouching in this chair, not a care for my posture, yeah
Writing all these songs, till they sing it like the opera, yeah
What have I been shooting for
Yeah
What have I been moving towards
Yeah
Cause I don't got a lot to show, so maybe I should do some more
I'm climbing out the windows when they tellin' me to use the door
I'm sick of it, tell 'em all the gist of it
Repeating this and that, it's like they never even listening
The clock is speeding up, and my time on Earth diminishing
I got the job started, so what's stopping me from finishing
I gotta go and finish this
Yeah, I gotta go and finish this
Got the tools I need, I just gotta get to fixin' it
F*** the motivation, need to get a taste of discipline,
A taste of discipline
Look, yeah
No I ain't been proper, no, no, no
No I ain't I been proper, no, no
Yeah, they in they suits and gowns, I don't got a lot to offer
Yeah, my presences disrespect, and they asking me for honor, but
No I ain't been proper, no, no, no
No I ain't I been proper, no, no
Yeah, the sockets of my eyes, started glistening with water
Could I ever f***ing change if they want me to be proper, no
(Could I ever f***ing change if they want me to be proper, no)
I had to face a lot of the tribulations of life on my own while I was learning how to ask for help.
I never knew how I was supposed to act, and sometimes I would turn cold on people I loved.
And I'm still learning, and we all are.
And I'll never learn everything there is to be human.
But one thing I know is that I'll keep moving forward until I know enough.
