If I could fly I'd touch blue skies
And glide on clouds
Kiss the sunrise
Sit on the moon
Enjoy the view and
Hopscotch cross meteorites
And

This world is a place of vast love
And vast space
Low morals and vast hate
But I choose to see what I wanna see
And become who I know I am to be
These daydreams
Are a daytime escape
And they take you to a place
Of peace, joy, freedom and purity
Limits unknown
Where smiles roam freely
And hearts beat to beats of their own drums
And life is nothing but a perfect breeze
Daydreams are but a fantasy away at all times always
Within reach of your very soul and as far as your mind can see
They are more real then every doubt I've allowed my mind to believe
About me, my goals, my future, my now
Daydreams are a chosen delicacy that if explored correctly can be euphoric... God given
A vivid vision of what can be if your faith musters up to a mustard seed
I've heard it said that daydreams are for children or the idle minded
And I'd agree to disagree
Because a child's mind is exceptionally free
With an infinitive imagination that cannot be fathomed
And how can my daydreamt mind be idle when its pressing forward... moving toward
Something greater, something newer, just something
And I'd even say that those who don't daydream are not human
I mean how can you not lay in your bed and stare at the ceiling during a night of sleeplessness
And dream of all the things you'll do and all the things you'll be and all the places you'll see
I mean have you ever stared at the blackened sky and just dreamed, have you
If I could fly I'd touch blue skies
And glide on clouds
Kiss the sunrise
Sit on the moon
Enjoy the view and
Hopscotch cross meteorites

If I could fly I'd touch blue skies
