Chicken - The Color of My Face Lyrics

"Is it possible, that you can just see more
Than what you think you know, than the color of my face
Is it possible, to be judgmental,
When we should stick and pull, For the human race"

I be like Batman and everybody else Dick Greyson
Cuzz they robbin me of my rights, for the color of my face and
Spacing me out, that I'm now marginalized
But if they come shootin, it's the white in my eyes
Are showing, when they see me comin at yah in the open
Its chicken season but I got yah ducking from this flowing
How that goes when, when I go into a good part of town, some of the snobby peoples
Smiles turn to frowns. Nouns they call me, but I'll do verb an adjective
I'll move out the area quickly, to where I live
See to where I still understand that "we" are divided
The pigmentation I got, some actually get died in
My socio-economic status, is because I'm colored
As I progress in some areas dearly, beloved
But I get crazed, when negative energy is just waste
On others, just for the color of their face, come on!

"Is it possible, that you can just see more
Than what you think you know, than the color of my face
Is it possible, to be judgmental,
When we should stick and pull, For the human race"

Now for the ones, who say that "I don't see it"
That a color doesn't matter, experience I mean it
Make me feel i know, what I know, what I feel
When the eyes are full of hate on me because I deal
With another subgroup, that are not grouped with them
If the inner circles open up, we all be friends
By the ends of all means, I still have to go out
The circle, the box, or whatever shaped of my house
I live in and vacate, cuz I must accept that my fate
Of where I live and and raise my family is cuz of "my face"
Not to debate, cuz you can't relate because you got no taste
Of the plan laid out, to orchestrate
That my place in society is to obliterate
That the discourse that it is, is off just as late
Paint me as the villain, so "you" can just feel just great
That its me and not you, it's the color of my face, Come on!
