There's a yard where the fireflies blink in the warm night air
And the crickets chirp while the moon smiles down on them
They call to their lovers in a sea of noise and single them out
The clouds twist in circles slowly, tired of the wind pushing them around
And if we had a garden with a stone bench, poppies on the ground
Would you hold me, would you kiss me or just listen to the sound
The sound of the night, the sound of our love ringing in the air
Tearing off our worries until we both feel bare
And there's a pond on the edge of the yard where the birds come to play
And a stream with a bridge that captures the mood of something pretty you'd say
And as the stars rotate, we hold each other tight
As we spin so swiftly, like a theme park ride
Floating through space, with no clear sight
We have each other so we know we're alright
