I look at pictures on my phone
Of dark green gardens and white flowers at dusk
From movies I love or the british countryside
Slight evening chill but the stone under my feet is still warm
Tomorrow's dewdrops emanate on leaves (perfume the air)
The song of the last few birds before the night
Just you and me here, I grab your old hand
Tune out the rambling I don't understand
You'll just have to look and smell and forget that I exist
You don't have to swallow pills and you don't have to eat your veggies
You don't have to wear compression socks
We can just walk
And then you can die in peace and
You'll be buried in this garden
And in just a few decades I'll join you
You don't have to swallow pills and you don't have to eat your veggies
You don't have to wear compression socks
We can just walk
And then you can die in peace and
You'll be buried in this garden
And in just a few decades I'll join you
I will join you
In the garden
I will join you
In the garden
In the garden
In the garden
