Sunday morning I went into the hills
To the top of Onion Mountain
The hike really kills
Two days later I arrived on top
To see an antelope standing there doing the hop-de-hop
I saw an antelope on Onion Mountain
Shouting my name out for far too long
I saw an antelope on Onion Mountain
Repeating my name in his gosh darn song
I tried to befriend the animal but he pulled out his spear
And attacked poor little ol' me by stabbing me in the ear
I fell four-thousand feet into the spiked rocks below
Impaled myself on some and the blood began to flow
I saw an antelope on Onion Mountain
Shouting my name out for far too long
I saw an antelope on Onion Mountain
Repeating my name in his gosh darn song
I finally pulled my ragged body up stood on my feet
And saw my arm was a stub fury built inside me
A feeling I never felt before
I stormed back up the mountain my legs still sore
I saw an antelope on Onion Mountain
Shouting my name out for far too long
I saw an antelope on Onion Mountain
Repeating my name in his gosh darn song
I saw him standing there with his spear in his hand
I reached down to the ground and threw at him some sand
His eyes began to burn as he looked over at me
And he fell off the cliff what a sight to see
I saw an antelope on Onion Mountain
Shouting my name out for far too long
I saw an antelope on Onion Mountain
Repeating my name in his gosh darn song
Who would have known that the antelope
Would have slipped on his own feces
Did I nope
So there goes the lesson that you all should learn
To kill an antelope on Onion Mountain
There's lots of money you'll earn
Onionlope on Anton Mountain
