It was early in the evening
About 10 o'clock precisely
I was in need of a fix
So I drove down south to Vancouver
And the guy on the corner had
Enough to go around
So I purchased one of his notebooks
He was glad for his business
But he didn't stop there
When I turned to walk away he
Grabbed my arm and am I glad he did it
He offered me another notebook
And I cried out at the top of my lungs
Yes I'll have another notebook
Do cows on the moon jump over cheese
Yes I'll have another notebook
Hook me up with as many as you got
I took the notebook home
A little cozy place in Texas
I opened it up and written there
Was a song about an owl
It said to read these words
It would bring the owl
And all your nightmares would come true
I sung the little song
And just as I expected
The owl came hooting in my face...
And then the most frightening thing ever happened
The sky clouded up
Lightning hit the ground
The power went out
More lightning illuminated my room
As the owl sat on the other side
His red eyes stared at me
My heart began to beat faster
Faster...
Faster!
The owl blinked and
Made a demonic hoot
I backed up into the darkness
Trapped myself in the corner
And then the owl lifted up from his perch
And then came flying at me...
Yes, I'll have another notebook
