An open letter, I hope that it finds you feeling better
We been through hell and back, then some dark weather
But I suppose life's a lesson so I'm stressing
I hate when people messing with you
Make a confession or two
I must profess I look at you feel pride
And feel the troubles you hide
Empathetic guess I feel it inside
Don't want to talk, we can let it lie
Fire burning bright, don't you let it die
Even men will cry when the tension's high
Won't mention shedding those tears among peers
Can't be seen as pensive
I been waiting long years don't be defensive
Progress takes time and the work is extensive
And in defense of me, I hoped that you would see
Everything you mean to me and everything you could be
A blind man with his heart sees
And you are part me, but you the star, Bri
Baby, you the star
I see your pain and the tears coming from afar
I really hoping that you knowing that you got my heart
And for you, my life, man I would give a part
This is the love we got
I write letters for light weather or dark
Grow it from a flame, all it's taking is a spark
Life making is an art, leave a mark for the loved ones
Spent your whole life at clocks waiting for someone
Superhero type, you ain't waiting on no one
If it takes courage I know you about to show some
I'm a be your champion, even when I'm on one
Even when I flow dumb, even when it's ho hum
Even when events conspire to take light
I know you will rise higher, you're an angel in flight
And even though I aspire to live my days right
I'm a leave you a thought with these words that I write, like
