Got a furball, thinks he's the kingpin,
Scratches up the couch, no matter where I've been.
Jump on the counter, knock the glass down,
Eyes full of mischief, with that little-cat frown.
Cats be jerks, actin' all grand,
Walkin' on your face, think you don't understand.
Paws on your laptop, thinkin' it's a joke,
Kneading on your chest, you're about to choke.
Always in stealth, ninja in the night,
Trippin' when you walk, wanna start a fight.
Refuses the kibble, wants the gourmet dish,
Turnin' up their nose, at your tuna fish.
Cats be jerks, in their fluffy thrones,
Climbing on the curtains, hear the crashing tones.
Tail in your drink, slappin' your cheek,
Standin' in the doorway, acts all sleek.
Throwin' shade, in their cat-tree fort,
Scratchin' post ignored, bringin' bugs they caught.
Snuggles on their terms, when they decide,
Then they swat your hand, a bit of feline pride.
Purring so loud, just to switch it up,
Five seconds of love, then sips from your cup.
Owning your bed, while you're left on the edge,
Tiny little tyrants, with a toe bean pledge.
