Back behind the stage where the spotlight never shines, someone asked what faith means to me. I don't remember what I said - something 'bout the spirit being free. Two more nights and a thousand miles later, his question was still inside my head. I suppose that by tomorrow, the words could be different, but here's what I'd say to them today: If you can find music in the middle of your midnight - after the last song has been played. If you can feel the bright sun on your shoulders, even when you're sitting in the shade. If you can touch the tender side of timeless, when it's something you've never felt before. If you can taste the fruit before it blossoms, then you've found faith - faith and so much more.
