I took a step into my home
Boy what did I find?
I saw my woman on the floor
Then hot blood got me blind
She was beaten red and bloody
Clothes a tattered mess
Who could do such a wrong deed
Only one man I could guess
It was One-Shot Will and his company of five
Gonna die
I got her to the hospital
And then loaded up my gun
Rode my horse to Jim's Saloon
But what I sought there was none
So for weeks I searched the hillsides
The mountains and the caves
Looking for the bandits
To give the grief that I was gave
I came here to avenge my wounded wife
Gonna die
I found them in a camp
Six miles out from home
Loaded my revolver
And started thinking of tombstones
They begged for mercy
Because they knew who I am
I looked them in the eyes
And told them reckoning's at hand
I got six bullets but all I need is my knife
Gonna die
(They ran for their horses
A bullet in each one
They reached for their guns
But found that they had none)
And every ounce of fear was stricken
As they departed from this world and made it into Hell
For the deeds they had done
I'm a man of my word and I meant it when I said
Oh, Gonna Die
