First, there were hands around my head
Then they slipped another brain inside my brain
This brain grew and grew until my whole head became the brain
The brain touched the underside of my skin
It pushed out my eyes and ears
The hair grew out whenever the brain swelled up from inside
The nostrils breathed in and out the way the brain pulsed, and then the brain outgrew the body
The brain touched the underside of the world
There was no need for the mouth
The world was already communicated
I am an owl
I am endangered
