I walk up to the first floor.
The second floor is next.
I walk up to the third floor,
Then I have a rest.
The fourth, fifth and sixth floors,
The seventh and eighth too.
I'm getting very tired now.
I think I've lost a shoe!
Going to your flat is a bit of a chore,
And that's because you live on the 19th floor.
We live in a block of flats, here on Planet Pop.
I live on the ground floor, you live at the top.
There is no lift, only stairs, from my flat to yours.
From the bottom to the top, there are 20 floors.
I go on from the ninth floor,
Up to the 13th.
I stop and rest for half an hour,
Then up to the 14th.
The 15th floor is very hard.
The 16th floor is too.
But when I get to the 19th,
I'm happy to see you!
