FAB - Stop the Hate (Coronavirus Racism) Lyrics

Just cause it all began in China
Doesn't mean we judge the Asian race
It wasn't China's fault
For the coronavirus case
Stop the anti Chinese hate
December was the date
Stay in and wait
Just cause they're Chinese
Doesn't mean they spread the COVID-19
Strand of the disease
Wasn't there fault Just cause it started in their place
Not their fault that it spread into the states
Stop the hate

I'm losing every bit of hope that a brother could have
At times like this, we need peaceful words; but instead, we're getting trash
Harassing a race for entertainment and laughs
To make a difference understanding is needed
People nowadays are just so conceited
But we have to think about how people are treated
Now do you want to live in a world that is incomplete
Where all conversations are heated
All peace is deleted

I guess I'm writing this when folks like us need encouragement
Even when times are at their darkest, far from encouraging
Remember your faith when your patience starts running thin
If you are forgetting, crack the book and reread His words again
Sometimes it helps, and it feels like the burdens are lessened
Other times could be a lesson that might need refreshing
A moment to satisfy rage is never worth regressions

Italians on the streets instead of in their homes behind the comfort of their sheets
Protesting, and praying, as they're faced with a nationwide crisis
Every life taken away is priceless
Italians fell in line finally wise, finally sensitized
Respecting measures utilized at the down-size of the corona

Just cause it all began in China
Doesn't mean we judge the Asian race
It wasn't China's fault
For the coronavirus case
Stop the anti Chinese hate
December was the date
Stay in and wait
Just cause they're Chinese
Doesn't mean they spread the COVID-19
Strand of the disease
Wasn't there fault Just cause it started in their place
Not their fault that it spread into the states
Stop the hate
Stop the hate

Listen
To this little story
In California, a 16-year-old American-Asian
Part of the equation
Shoved, bullied, accused of carrying the disease
Not even Chinese
With no symptoms
Did they test him in a CDC
You see he was negative for the COVID-19
That poor boy, taken to get an MRI
His parents confused and worried about all the lies
Or the jokes everyone's been making
Some have been holding back tears in their eyes
With a smile in disguise
As they know someone infected
And it's affecting every moment of their lives
With kids saying
"Taking calc 151 with only Asians in the room
I hope I don't catch coronavirus {Soon}"
I swear this is animated like we're in a cartoon
Even CDC director had to come out with a statement
"Do not assume that if... {They of}
Asian descent, they have coronavirus"
It's sad to hear we need someone to state the obvious
I though in 2020 and at times of fear
Issues like that would not appear
They wouldn't be near
And sometimes this world blinds me like I can't see clear
From all the tears
Rushing on the faces
On victims
From the racists

We are strong together
Different nations yet together
Fighting the situation, no separations
Scientists, let's have a conversation and
Build a foundation
To come up with a creation
A vaccination
For all this
Devastation
It's Fab
