Leaves fall from their home
Organic string wrapped around your thumb
Air is smokey with autumns burning
A familiar tingling scent
Knowing that fall is here
It is the orange and amber maze
Sensing the snow is near
But spring will breath us life again
The trees take off their clothes
The pumpkins lighting up my porch
Attracting zombies and three foot vampires
How I miss their ignorance
Not knowing that fall is here
It is the orange and amber maze
Sensing the snow is near
But spring will breath us life again
