At the break of dawn
When the subtle rays of the sun
Seep into the morning dew
Echoing shapes of crystals on the leaves
When the clouds paint shades other than white
And the universe announces life
All one hears is the
Gushing of wind and rustling of leaves
In this silence
On the highest bark of a giant tree
Lies the heart and soul of a mother
Protected by natures comfort of white
And then the blessing of life
Lights upon the perilous and consistent efforts of the mother
Cracking open into the morning light
A tiny life chirps her first melody
This little one is new to the phenomenon of life
In her first few seconds she
Learns how to feel, learns how to breath
Learns how to chirp all instinctively
Her eyes still closed she feels
A certain rhythm inside of herself
A pulse that beats within you and me
Connecting us all in this universe that we see
With every passing moment
As you listen to the click of the clock
I want you to realise
That you and I have locked in with this time
