Way back when
When I was a young boy
I'd wake up early on Saturdays
Grab a bowl of cereal
Run to the living room and see
What the cartoons had to say
The clock hit eleven my mom has to go to work
She puts my lunch in the microwave
I ask if I can go outside
She said don't get hurt
And most of all you better behave
I miss those days
When I was so young
Not a care in the world
Sweating in the sun
I wish I could go back
When I was a rugrat
But I guess I'm just living in the past
I grab my bike
I never use a helmet
The neighbors wave as I'm passing by
It's all so clear to me
All these great memories its crazy how time goes by
