I see those white shores
Security embraces me
As far as my sight can tell
Safe harbor is calling me
Safe harbors are my sanctuary
Forward to the shallows
Yet I am troubled by an ever longing fear that I have never known
Like the burning of the willow
A sky of red is all I'll ever know
Arises the foulest of beasts as she rips my courage away
Long let her fire sear my flesh and bone
And as my body sinks into the deepest blue, I realize
I finally see that we were blinded by light
I see those sands
I never wanted more
Than to lay my wounded body
Upon those white shores
And as the tide erases me
I find I can't remember anything
Will I dream
What will I see
I feel afraid for the first time
Arises the foulest of beasts as
She rips my courage away
Long let her fire sear my flesh and bone
As my body sinks into the deepest blue, I realize
I finally see that we were blinded by light
We were blinded by light
I'll close my eyes
I'll dream tonight
My body dies 'cause we were blinded by light
