Jordan Dunn - Clouds (feat. Riss & Jungle Leez) Lyrics
Official

If I hadn't picked up the pen where would I be?
Six feet deep probably
I don't want you feeling bad for me
I just want to tell my story
Most my life I felt like people were ignoring me
I kept it quiet but I was depressed for while
I never felt like I fit in with my lifestyle
I was at my wits end, thinking I was better dead
Music saved me, I'm forever in debt
Now it's my mission to help people who are conflicted inside
So when they listen they can learn they're not alone, it's alright
I've struggled with addictions, now I'm on a natural high
And now I'm working on my life cause I ain't ready to die
I'm finally cleaning up my act now
My story's looking better I am so proud
To say I'm finally shedding my doubts
And all the pain I once felt has blown away with the clouds
Stepping on the clouds
Stepping on the clouds
I open up my eyes
Sitting by your side
Stepping on the clouds
Stepping on the clouds
Even though the world is madness
I'm relieved by your side
I could see history repeat itself
But not with me, with someone else
You said that you were fine
But I could hear you when you'd cry
In the next room over nearly every night
Mascara stains on your pillow case
Relative to the pain you hid with a fake face
It killed me to see my sister feeling that way
If you're ever feeling down, all you have to do is say
And I'll be there for you
That's the truth
Yeah we've had fights
But that's what siblings do
Never feel afraid to open up
Because I made the mistake when I was stuck in a rut but trust
That I'd never leave you in a time of need
Sometimes life's hard and brings you to your knees
It's important that you don't neglect your family, please
We don't wanna see you hurt
We want you to feel free
Stepping on the clouds
Stepping on the clouds
I open up my eyes
Sitting by your side
Stepping on the clouds
Stepping on the clouds
Even though the world is madness
I'm relieved by your side
I look deep into your eyes
And I can see your pain
As your demons suffocate you and run your spirit weak
Dragging you into a void of your own mind
The world begins to look eerie and bleak
When you can no longer see the light
I can't lie, I've been there a couple times
But I promise you there's more to this in life
So take my hand and sit with me by the cliffside
Take a piece of my peace, let your soul jump
And watch your spirit fly
As we dance with the stars in the night sky
To ignite the fire inside to intertwine with mine so we can rise
Above the storm we call depression
And lay up on the clouds and start cherishin'
Every second that we're getting
If we keep up the momentum
We might even reach heaven together
Stepping on the clouds
Stepping on the clouds
I open up my eyes
Sitting by your side
Stepping on the clouds
Stepping on the clouds
Even though the world is madness
I'm relieved by your side
