Don't
Leave me
Alone
Alone
I need
You
To save
To save
Me
Me
Oh
Shackled by the words I'll never say
Tethered to anxiety that keeps me safe
Freedom stands before me but, I'm afraid
To grasp it, I'm eternally a slave
Internally awake, but that means nothing without action
My arms don't bear the strength to swim so I am trapped in
Drowning, doused in, all the water that had gave me life
Baptized by your bullets, so I'm gasping for some life
The poem ends upon completion of performance
I spent my life, trying to teach of love and its importance
Yet, here we are, approaching end of roads
A piece of my soul, still remains in petals of the rose
I don't want to leave, separation leads to isolation
Waiting for the world I fantasize in solitude sensation
Returning where I'm from, never arriving at my home
Don't belong, maybe I can see it when my eyes are closed
Don't
Leave me
Alone
Alone
I need
You
To save
To save
Me
Me
Oh
