The bison swam calmly on the river, guided by the water, unaware of its fate
Hope shone in his eyes, To cross to the other side, still on the way
The water was cold and penetrated the skin, but the bison didn't pay attention and kept moving forward
He didn't know that someone was watching him, From a distance, from hiding, with the wind in his face
The shooter waited patiently for the right moment to shoot to end this life
But the bison didn't know that he was already doomed to death, which would come in one moment
As soon as he crossed the border, he felt pain. The shot hit his heart and killed his dreams
The bison fell to the ground, with his eyes in the sky, and died, not knowing why it happened
And the river flowed on, indifferent to the fate of the Bison, who swam across it only to be shot
And although he is no longer there, he still lives in stories, as a symbol of courage and the unconscious fight for life
