The sun sets on the horizon
A blaze of orange and pink
The skies a canvas of colors
Yet the world's beginning to sink
The moon rises in the night sky
A silver orb in a sea of black
The crickets chirping their sweet lullaby
And the leaves tumble up in a stack
This world full of beauty's
Still hurting down beneath
From the smallest rock
To the grandest seas
Full of imagery
Beauty hurts to keep
And it hopes we see
But, we fall asleep
The thunders a warning
Of the drought from beneath
But, to us it seems normal and we breathe
Like it's any other day
Forgetting this place
Will not always stay
The same
The trees whisper secrets to the wind
The river flows, never giving in
The mountains rise and change the land
And the stars twinkle like grains of sand
So, we connect them to find some meaning
And to us it seems normal
Nothing new here
But, that's cause we're not seeing
The struggles and fear
Cause the worlds a huge place
Only see where we stand
But, on the other side
Somethings bound to need a hand
This world full of beauty's
Still hurting down beneath
From the smallest rock
To the grandest seas
Full of imagery
Beauty hurts to keep
And it hopes we see
But, we fall asleep
The thunders a warning
Of the drought from beneath
But, to us it seems normal and we breathe
Like it's any other day
Forgetting this place
Will not always stay
The same
It's changing everyday
This world full of beauty's
Still hurting down beneath
From the smallest rock
To the grandest seas
Full of imagery
Beauty hurts to keep
And it hopes we see
But, we fall asleep
