Far in the desert where the life has gone to die
Rides a lonely knight for the souls that cry
He is the last survivor of the war
Too high is the score

All of them were beaten by his sword
And his force and strength, given by the lord
Well, the gifts that helped him to survive
Took him more than so much life

And so he rides through the desert he self made
The deserted knight, not the hero who is fade
Betrayed by peace and the war that came again
To avenge his people and his men

Always when servants of dark begin to fight
To kill everything that stands for the light
The knight is called by kings which promised: "Please
It's just for the peace!"

So he rode to war just again and again
Saw the needless dead of a thousand men
But now it's enough, just one last man to kill
To the king leads him his will

And so he rides through the desert he self made
The deserted knight, not the hero who is fade
Betrayed by peace and the war that came again
To avenge his people and his men

Now his sword points to the royal throne
To kill the man who kills with the crown
So many innocents the king sent to death
An avenger they must have

But then the knight begins to realize
What would be, if no one gets wise
If he murders the king, the dying will not end
So he puts the weapon out of hand

And while he do, the fog is fade
And an envoy comes to say
"There is hope, not all are dead
As you will see, we saved your family"

And so he rides through the rising morning light
The deserted knight who is tired of the fight
Filled with hope that he is not alone
To find his people and his home

Now after many nights and days he rode
Exhausted of trust and about to lose the hope
The knight looks up and sees a firelight
Which promises the end of his ride

When he arrives, he can't believe his eyes
All are there, the envoy told no lies
Except the fallen men his people are alive
And he can hug his child and his wife
