In the beginning
Shapeless was the world
Stasis violently crashed into existence
Transformation of bodies
Split the earth from sky
True equilibrium of beings brought to life
There were four ages
Gold, silver, bronze, then iron
Trusted with free will
Divine appearance betrayed
We will wash all impunity away
Every house of man will fall
Great rain wrought by wrath
Wringing fury from the clouds
The tides surge and rise
To meet the rushing rivers
The earth moves in waves
Collapsing over highest peaks
Overwhelming tallest towers
Our memories fading
We begin anew
Veils cover our faces
Garments remain loose
Dragging along dirt and corpses
Our great mother's bones behind our backs
Desecration unknown
Misinterpreted by all
We toss stones in our wake
Creating beings of mud and blood
A retaliation
Hearts bursting into a wasteland
Limbs twisting and cracking
From flesh to bark, all lust consumed
Many eyes descend upon celestial lies
Selfish and reckless in pursuit
Succeeding to end an everglowing flame
Breathing life into mortal soil
To be born among the stars in the sky
