Winding up string
As he sits alone
Whistling something
Not unlike an old childhood song
Something unseen
Calls to him
From a distant shore
Rising to his feet, he steadies himself
With some hesitation
Something glimmering, hitherto unseen
He proceeds, with some degree of trepidation
Suddenly, as in a dream
A golden lady emerging from the deep
Reaches out her hand
"Young hero, come with me"
When you get The Call
Will you take it?
Or hang it back upon the wall
Just say that you can't make it
We all get the call
But few will answer
Just take a chance
And say "Let's Dance"
When you get the call!
Plunging through the deep
His breath tightly held
With anticipation
Will this golden queen
Set him free
Or lead him to annihilation
Suddenly, he can breathe
He sees a city 'neath the sea
Thus speaks, his majesty
"We have been waiting for thee"
When you get The Call
Will you take it?
Or hang it back upon the wall
Just say that you can't make it
We all get the call
But few will answer
And take a chance
To say "Let's Dance"
When you get the call!
When you get The Call
Will you take it?
Or hang it back upon the wall
Just say that you can't make it
We all get the call
But few will answer
And take a chance
To say "Let's Dance"
When you get the call!
