Sun goes out from the clouds
Then I wake up with a smile
Way before the alarm clock
And then nap just for a while
Wash up dress up leave the house
Walking at a moderate pace
Get to work and grab the mouse
Singing in the open space
In the evening I go play
Maybe sometimes raise a cup
Nothing can't get in my way
That's until you just wake up
Please get out
Please leave my head
When you sleep I think about
Things I would have done and said
All those things that I could build
All these songs that I could write
All the hours to be filled
All the freedom all the light
You just don't stay for a while
You leave room for nothing more
Break in with your laugh and smile
Breaking up my mind and core
You don't really want to leave
You will do it anyway
You'll crawl back and up my sleeve
Wave your legs and ruin my day
I can't stop I have to go
There's no gold it's only lead
But I'd like before that though
Get that dog out of my head
