I was sitting in my room, I was reading a book
And then I grabbed another one and started taking a look
And then I read another book before I went out to play
Now tell me how many books did I read today
One, two, three
With my one, two eyes and my one, two feet
I'm walking around and counting all the things that I see
Cause there are things that I can count almost everywhere
I'm counting one, two, three, hey, look over there
Now I'm sitting on the floor so I can play with my cars
Because I like the way they zoom and how they travel so far
And now I line up all my cars on the ground this way
Now tell me how many cars do I have today
One, two, three, four, five
With my one, two eyes and my one, two feet
I'm walking around and counting all the things that I see
Cause there are things that I can count almost everywhere
I'm counting one, two, three, hey, look over there
Now I want to draw a picture of a dog with a snout
So I grab my box of crayons and I dump them all out
And then I line up all my crayons on the table this way
Now tell me how many crayons do I have today
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
Now you can count up all your fingers, you can count your toes too
Or you can count the wobbly penguins that you see at the zoo
Or you can count your fluffy pillows while you're going to bed
Or take a really long time and count the hairs on your head
One, two, three
Oh, this might take forever
With my one, two eyes and my one, two feet
I'm walking around and counting all the things that I see
Cause there are things that I can count almost everywhere
I'm counting one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, everywhere
