Now I remember only this
So far removed in place and time
Great windows framed the pinhole stars
The clock unwound its circle rhyme
The ballad of the passing hours
And shameless, swift, the Judas kiss
Of the full moon's sudden rising light
Unravelled dark, betrayed the night
Memory decays, a sense remains
Of emptiness, of quantum shift
Across the universe of that room,
Lost in the stars, my spectrum drift
Fading in the semi-gloom
Between the moon and dawn it drains
To black, to grey and through the haze
In another room, a piano plays
