She lost her soul to the misery of the night
Torrential rain washed it so far away
And the anguish she felt compounded the pain
Of a time spent with no hope to gain
When we met, I saw a pureness Forever sought seldom seen
And a fragile heart full of wonder and grace.
Pure as the fresh fallen rain
And spring air
And her eyes as white
As recently woven lace.
The smile of an Angel was her Cue
To love everyone unconditionally
She was surrounded
By an aura of heavens light
And a glow of a spirit
You could almost feel
Though lost in a world of Stain
She had a charm beyond reasons
And a smile to fill your eyes
Her nature was of all seasons
The sweet smell of gone love
Follows her almost everywhere
Like the early dew does fall
The lonely spirit was residing there
When I remember those days
I shed a tear
To think her life is gone
And no longer here
Oh, the pain she had seen
Was etched in her heart
Too strong for her to bare
Her essence may still remain
As the picture of her
Fills my brain
I pray for the rain to wash
It all away some day
We shall carry on for a while
Till the earth moves no more
She is in our fond memories
Then we wait for evermore
I will never forget you
Never forget your smile
Tragedy Tragedy it is so
