Mykel Hawk - CREATQR Lyrics
Official

This time last year, we had it all
My sister's gone to school, I'm graduating in the fall
Dad's elated that he's soon to reach the age of retirement
And he's been thinking him and Mom could use a change of environment
He's arranged a few weeks for them to spend on an island
On a beach with blue drinks, and their cares all behind them
He plans to surprise her, just as soon as his pension hits
They got a bond that seems effortless unimpeded connectedness
She can screen his expressions and read 'em like messages
So when he tells her he loves her she never needed to question it
Every night after dinner, they'd sit together for the evening news
Once he'd get the weather, pops was off to bed to dream and snooze
Mom would often to stay up late, said she had some things to do
Left on Channel eight, the later news gets to extremer views
My parents neutral politically, dad says a politician's never truthful deliberately
He said they'd lie to the Pope, but they pander religiously
And both of my folks are devoted servants of ministry
Hasn't been a Sunday service, yet they're not in attendance
They got church friends, but lately they can't get through a sentence
Without mentioning the President, or scam run elections
But all that Mom knows about him is he's the man from Apprentice
Feeling left out of discussions she tuned into cable
And soon was able to bring something smart to say at the table
It's been a month since she left us, three weeks since we've spoken
And it was two weeks ago she was supposed to be home
And it's got all of us stressed Pops is totally broken
He just got a letter from her that he don't want to open
Heaven, I'm facing confusions
Paradigm, shaking conclusions
I've been praying for solutions
I'm beginning to see past the illusions
We're living in the last revolution
I'm safe walking with my creator
Picture perfect before this all occurring
Scripture worship, but a darker version
What kind of person up and splits without returning
Deserting both the kids, leaving the family badly hurting
Dad still working up the nerve to read the letter that our mom sent
Grabbed a glass of bourbon, went upstairs, and he'd been gone since
She said the president was God sent
We thought she meant that in a broad sense
But mom says he's coming for the deep state
That's why they're rushing to impeach him at an increased rate
He's the president the Hollywood elites hate
Mom was always up early, now she sleeps late
Never worried about her mental competence
Or worried she was threatened by digital providence
Still she increasingly mentioned the biblical apocalypse
Armageddon to save the planet from liberal politics
And I keep re-examining the day I knew it happened when
We had a conversation that had left me sad and rattled when
I ran and caught her pacing had a bible, she was grappling
Reciting a passage from Revelations and babbling
She'd invite me to sit, and I did it braced for the worst case
Was dad in an accident are we evicted on Thursday
She said, son, there's a battle at hand
And when the first wave begins, it's gonna ravage the land
And make the earth shake
Lucifer's clan ran by elitists and globalists
The planet's influencers got the evilest goals
They're getting high from the blood of a child
Squeezing 'em motionless
But 45 and Jesus came to free us from socialists
Heaven, I'm facing confusions
Paradigm-shaking conclusions
I've been praying for solutions
I'm beginning to see past the illusions
We're living in the last revolution
I'm safe walking with my creator
I sat and listened to my mother's warning
Her description of a storm that's forming
What sort of Christian gives endorsing politicians
More importance than the Lord's mission
What are we supporting
She's insisting there's a hidden escalating emergency
And there's children falling victim to satanic fraternities
An interplanetary coalition bringing insurgency
And a plan to imprison us with a singular currency
There's only one man who can stop it
The Holy Chosen One
Our president, the prophet
I'm looking at her like she's lost it
She's like, you know what, let's forget it and she dropped it
I grabbed a notepad and pen to begin a checklist
I had to approach Dad with this mess after breakfast
But that was the weekend she went and drove her truck to Texas
To attend an event that supports abducted adolescents
It's been a month since she left us
Three weeks since we've spoken
Pop's has fallen asleep holding the letter Mom wrote him
And he's out cold, so with caution, I slipped the note from his grip
And slipped downstairs to read it, I had to know what it said it read
Dear Ted, where do I begin
I know you all must be more worried than you've probably ever been
I've tried to write this letter 30 times, I'd always tear it up and start again
Firstly, know that I'm alive I'm still in Dallas with some friends
Rachel, Alice, Percy, Clyde, Bill, Hassan, and Jen
The 8chan group, I chatted with and mentioned now and then
When I got here, there were thousands of us, the energy was fierce
A prophet we believed in said John Kennedy, would appear
And he'd take his place as president as all the people cheered
We were all so disappointed when he missed his big premiere
I intended on returning home, my group said please don't leave us
I stayed that night and was visited by the one who leads us
He spoke in tones that riveted us to the sea beneath us
I knew before he said it, he was the resurrected Jesus
He told us that he needed us, we'd soon become apostles
And help to mold each new believer come to know his gospels
I lost my phone I sit alone and pen the hardest words I've ever written
I won't be coming home again I hope I'll be forgiven
Give my love to both the children and please don't worry about the virus
Each night we drink elixir from a bowl the Lord provides us
This is the last I'll ever write he demands his flock wholly closed
And locked the door behind us
So, goodbye I'm off to walk beside the Holy Ghost on roads so bright they blind us
