Lamentation burns my will
Hellhounds swarm around me

First they take my legs so I can't run
Then my arms so that I can't fight

As I float along to nowhere my soul reforms and I finally see the truth
The wailing of lost souls squirming and writhing in eternal misery
Their lament weighs heavily on me and threatens to drag me down
I can't take their agony, I have enough within me
When I get up to leave The Furies are standing above me
They drag me on black wings to The Palace
Where Hades sits laughing on his throne
I beg him to call off the hunt but he laughs and snaps his fingers
Once again I fall, like Icarus my wax wings burn in the River of Fire
I drift down further than ever before down into the bowels of Tartarus
This timeless place has broken my spirit and robbed me of my will to fight
Even the greatest and the mightiest have a higher power that they answer to
I'll leave behind every "gift" from the Gods
I'm the sacrificial lamb, waiting to be thrown into the flames
