The silent hooded Boatman stares ahead
With pale white fingers and blackened nails like claws upon his oar

Onward to the river crossing where we meet The Styx
At the bottom of a waterfall so loud it's deafening
Without a single word once more we float over the edge
Landing without even a ripple in the writhing fiery River Styx
Burning, twisting, tormenting every fibre of my being
Broken dreams float like bloated corpses on a festering river of blood
Every page of the history of the dead now seared into my mind
I look up from the depths and see my own worst memory
My beloved wife dies again before me
Gasping for breath as her blood runs down my hands
As the only two loves of my life sink beneath the waves
The fire inside me dies and leaves me broken once again
Forsaken to this hellish nightmare
The faces of those I've lost flash before my eyes
