Take your leap
Tear the deluding realities
Rid your abstract paragons
I dare you to re-anew
I challenge you to turn the tide
Break down prejudicial doctrines
Cast aside conceptual ideals
Allow me to take you in and
Embrace you as my brother
Whether my distinctions be
Dissimilarly identical
The unknown seem
Less dreadful when greeted
And not expected treacherous
We assume to be advanced
While we're obsessed with imagery
Claiming to know right from wrong
From predefined paradigms of morality
Roots entangling deep from history
In which we have yet to redeem
Granted we are to be most evolved at the brink of exhaustion
And even when there's nothing left forever we strife to replenish
What is it that's making the kill and what's twisting the knife
Why is it we cannot amend
What's this grudge we hold on to
Why the significance to define the hurt we never suffered
The endless recitations of antiquity
A deliberately altered obligation
And a granitic force of habit
Brutally impairing the community
Alienating our commonality
But who am I to judge
We once assumed to be advanced
We claimed to know wrongs and rights
Then we perceived the obscenity
The grandeur of self realization
Ghoulish denizens of identification
In which we fight to repel response
Granted we are to be most evolved at the brink of exhaustion
And even when there's nothing left forever we strife to replenish
Dystopian utopia
Utopian dystopia
