Arriving as The Third in
A heavy cloak called Burden
I pause in front of leaning trees
Like the ones before me
I'm ignorant of stories
And tread in footprints in the sand
I look across the landscape
An albatross in hand- scrape it out
To find what haunts me
Like the ones before me
I'm standing here with sore knees
And try to mend the damage that's been done
Like a soaking wet dog
That fell into a pond
Shake it off all you want
Shake it off, sucker
Before I realize it
I'm on my little islet
Floating somewhere in the air
Somewhere up in the air
Somewhere up in the air
