One Shot Bards - Bard Off Lyrics

One Shot Bards - Bard Off Lyrics
Official

This here's the story of two bards one soft and one hard now they both are telling the story of the same adventure but in very different ways
Well my softer counterpart would like to bore you with songs
About bunnies and kisses, doing right over wrong
Whereas the soul of a story comes from violence and death
From slaying dragons and bedding some wenches with hefty
Best to cut you off there you'll say something you regret
Though I see your songs excite you're missing something of which I am adept
The beauty in the art of adventure and quests
From the stories we tell of all the friends we have met
Mead and whiskey and bloody blades
Spells to enchant the fair maids
Corpses piled up to the sky
Prayers to angels up on high
Axes bows
Apologetic trolls
There's only one thing we both know
It's the adventure
No matter how we disagree the only thing that is real is we are adventurers
Now I'm going to go but you went first last time so
Have you ever heard the most beautiful sound
You awake from your slumber to hear the birdsong from the ground
Another journey awaits the sun shines through the trees
You see a deer spring away you hear the buzzing of the bees
These orcs have got to die I'm gonna cut all their throats
I'll spill their blood by my sword ill hang their ears on my coat
I'll set fire to their bones I'll block that sun from your sky
I'll never stop stomping my boots till all of them die
It's the adventure
No matter how we disagree the only thing that is real is we are adventurers
It's a shame we've never learned to work together
I know I'm just so angry I don't know what to do
Well why don't I take your anger and turn it into something beautiful?
And I'll try my best not to put my dagger through your skull!
