Dodging the traffic on Lombard-Van Ness
Fog slowly clears from the sky
Sand in my toes, I sit down by the bay
As the early morning joggers pass by
Taking a stroll along Jefferson Street
Fish traders setting up their stalls
And the distant bell of the trams up the hill
Ferrying children to school
Good morning, San Francisco
Spending my day sat by the bay
Whiling the hours away
Sipping iced coffee and watching the boats
From a café on Pier 39
They sail all day long under Golden Gate Bridge
Blissfully oblivious of time
Good morning, San Francisco
